New (& not so new) Scopes!!

Just got my Center Point 4-16x40 scope today, as well as a "dovetail to weaver" adaptor so I could put my BJ Trail's original Center Point 3-9x40 on my Quest.

Everything's been put together...now I just have to get them zeroed tomorrow, and see how I like the "new" scopes.

Thanks man....(even though I am really aching to paint the Quest over again so everything matches).

The "dovetail to weaver" mount seems really, really stable, and I'm tickled pink that I'll be able to get a much better cheekweld, and overall better grip on the Quest.

Hopefully I'll have a review of one, if not both setups within the next couple of days.

    Thanks, Poil!

But for some reason....I'm addicted to painting, even though I have no need for camouflage, and it adds no appreciable value other than LCF.

Maybe it's just a phase, and I'll be sanding those babies back down in 3 or 4 years....

Hmmm....I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I paint in a small, poorly ventilated area.....I remember starting a lot of paint projects...but can't remember finishing a damn one......
I just wake up, and the rifle's painted!

I worked for awhile many years ago in an auto assembly plant- and from what I recall the paintbooth boys that "didn't believe" in wearing the ventilating masks were the happiest (and slowest) guys in town...
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...
