    Lauchlin is refering to the Crosman 160. It is the gun the Qb 78 was copied from. You would have to find one used as they were discontinued quite a number of years ago.

    They (QB78, AR 2078, Crosman 160) are all virtually identical, so no difference to convert to HPA.... The QB79 is easier because you can screw a regulated tank right onto it with no other changes....

    Thanks Bob. You're making my decision easier to make

    Okay, I've found the Shanghai Air Gun (SAG) factory website for the QB78D;
    http://www.airrifle-china.com/produc...100449435.html

    I'm thinking of buying one of these scope mounts for it when I order the gun;
    http://scopesandammo.com/storefront/...ing-rail-p-246

    If I wanted to convert the rifle from CO2 what will I need to order? Would an extended bolt probe be worth the investment?

    The QB-78 is just a clone of the crosman 160
