Laped the inside of the berrel for about 3'' from the end; reason being i could not insert the mandrel for the BUSHNEL bore sighting unit. The pellet barely had visible rifling marks on it.
The gun shoots plenty accurectly.Empty 20 gauge shot shells at a measured 50 YARDS, 10 OUT OF10 no problem, without the vorteck and a dirty berrel from maybe shooting
approximatly 100 doped pellets. Thats with baracuda's 22 cal.Maybe 9 FPE at that distance was verry happy with the gun (HW 80 K).Pellets were not doped when this test
    occured.

Yeah, you're too slow on the draw, in fact, I'll be the second one to use it too:

    And the third:

    hahahah!
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Yes, big words... and he got it wrong to boot. I have only ever heard the word "obdurate" used in one context... having to do with a "dickie bird" singing a deathbed ballard in "The Mikado". Curiously, just today an airgun buddy sent me a link on casting bullets which I eagerly began reading and came across a new word "obturate" and I remembered this thread.... and thought something 'aint right, t, d, which one . A quick Google set it straight (who new, eh?) So, sorry Sean... the correct word for a pellet expanding to fit the bore is indeed "obturate", and I hope you don't get mad for me "educating" us on that point.

    An ode to irony!

    Think perhaps you meant "knew"?
