Sold my last 2-wheel rider (Kawasaki Vulcan) 17 years ago- and now to offend people- I never was much a fan of the excessive HD vibrating- even once they went "Evolution" in '84. Have the 2001-up TC88's made anything any smoother? (I also didn't much like the concept of a rubber band turning the rear wheel).
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

lol......well, yep, when I get to a stop sign the engine's hopping around but they've isolated the motor from the frame pretty good, once you get on the gas it's smooth as silk.....as far as the "rubber band" they're less mess because they don't need lubrication and just as strong as a chain when set up properly....mine's pretty reliable, she has 125,000 k's on her

Those are some good looking machines guys....the batwing on the Honda looks real good.
Sholo....those Yamaha's were iconic, that engine went on to power the Virago and the newer Vstar, don't feel bad. Like they say 'knees in the breeze is the best disease"

Love your bike..........I had an 83 Virago that was pretty much the same bike as yours. I know those bikes inside and out. Hows your starter holding out?
