    Thanks, the original design had 5mm bands of wood seperated by thin brass rings and looked nice too....maybe next time. The brass is a two peice setup that threads together and the wood is made into a sleeve. Slide the sleeve on and thread together.

    I mounted my scope pretty much the same way- it allows for easier access to get a pellet into the breech. I went with the Weaver TO-10 adapter to give the scope enough height to clear the bbl.

    Someone here posted pix of a QB in a micro-fit stock. That one's filed away in my head for future reference... :P

    Micro fit stock? I am not sure if I have seen that must take a look around
