    Gamo 12 gram CO-2

Not very impressed with the Gamo CO-2 I bought at Cabela's.

RWS 14.5 Gr Super Point 20-78-A

    1.) 440.1

    2.) 516.5 (?)

    3.) 414.8

    4.) 414.5

    5.) 415.0

    6.) 423.5

    7.) 419.4

    8.) 415.6

    9.) 425.1

    10.) 423.1

Same pellet and CO-2 in my 78-D:

    1.) 428.6

    2.) 522.9 (?)

    3.) 433.7

    4.) 428.3

    5.) 430.7

    6.) 433.6

    7.) 428.1

    8.) 439.1

    9.) 431.0

    10.) 437.8

Not sure what's up with that 2nd shot- in both rifles?
Power seems to be a bit on the low side compared to the Daisy CO-2. Daisy averages around 490-500 fps out of the 78-D. Both guns dropped p.o.i. 2" with the Gamo gas after just 25 shots. I'll be staying away from that brand of CO-2. Too bad it's a 25 count carton. I'll get some Daisy CO-2 on the weekend... The Gamo won't go to waste- I'll shoot it all in the b.b. pistols, come summer.

Must be contaminated, or your shooting conditions were different (I'm assuming they must not be using Co2 alone- perhaps mixed with something else).
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Hmmm....now there's something I never thought about before - change in velocity just from switching Co2 brands??? Would have thought Co2 would be the same no matter who bottled it up/sells it.

Just one more reason to avoid anything with the Gamo name on it!
