    SCBA Tank connection

Has anyone ever used this style of tank connection? It is the same one used on the 4500psi air venturi tanks.

What I'm looking for is some insight on the connection.

    What
    Where
    How much

I can buy the fitting from a Scott air pack and retro it to my needs but if there is something already on the shelf somewhere so much the better.

CGA 347 fitting for the bottle.

Can't remember the name of the business where I got mine anymore, but they did service work on scba's and re-hydro for the tanks...Likely similar to the source you've already found. Paid $30 IIRC for a used stainless fitting.

Or check with a welding shop and see if they can get it. Two versions I'm aware of, one with a hex for a wrench, and the other with a knurled "hand" wheel.

My fitting converts to 1/4" NPT male.
