so here are my results using the brass screw method.
Hard to take pictures of...but I tried......several times.
Now to go in the basement to use my makeshift range and trap to sight her back in.

Definitely better. Now just finish off with the smallest screw that wont fall into the bore and just barely break the hard edge with some very fine compound or toothpaste
