I have an Idea for the stock. The look will transform the look of the whole project.

Just want to mention the extremes I take when I have my mind set on a particular look. That barrel shroud cost me 14.99 plus the tax only cause I wanted 7/8'' not 1'' od. Bonus is I have a wash brush I will never use.

That's lookin' really good, Remtom. I like it!

Does the RVA interfere with your grip? Looks like it may be a tight fit? Speaking of the RVA - is that an Al Stone style/copy?

I hear ya there, man! Everytime I had to skim the pool last year I kept looking at the 8 or 9 feet of perfectly good "shroud material" being used for the skimmer handle!

SWMBO quickly squashed that idea though...

Great job so far! Look forward to seeing what you come up with for your stock idea!

Had a chance today to do a lil more to the project. Assembled and aired up with no leaks, and even got to shoot some pellets as a test but a disappointment presented itself. The funky bored barrel groups decent, but is so bad my scope cannot adjust that curve. So with this there is little to do until some belleville washers appear for sale, and the purchase of a straight barrel is made.

That turned out looking sweet!!! I like the oversized bolt handle (along with the rest of it).

    VERY nice job!
