LOL! I kinda knew what was gonna happen when the lube got cold. What you dont hear is HPA does drop pressure when subjected to those temps. I only get one day off a week so ....lol

That looks great, remtom! Nice design

Sweet looking shot string, too! It appears you have all the bugs worked out now. Super-consistent with good power - gotta love a regulated set-up, huh? I don't think I would ever go HPA again without it being regulated...I'm kinda spoiled with it now

On an unrelated topic - is that the two piece, Dovetail-Weaver adapter that Eric sells I see sitting on your breech? If so, how do you like 'em? I was/am thinking of getting a set or two, but heard conflicting reports that they didn't fit very well on a breech that had a rounded/crowned top section, such as the Crosman's/QB's??? Obviously that's BS, as they seem to fit quite well on your breech...

Thanks Sholo. Although it would be nice to have a 100 fpe setup, I realize that I am not using a full length tube(kinda in between a 79 and 78) and the transfer port is only 4mm breathing at 1500psi. With the riser block comes a longer distance for the air to travel and more stress on the cocking pin if your using some heavy hammer spring. Alignment is crutial with this setup or everthing starts rubbing. All in all its been an idea I had to build this rather than buy an expensive pcp to start, which I do not regret and the cost of parts is still under $500. A big Thanks goes out to SeanMP for offering me one of his project barrels to replace the curved bored one the Qb came with( I see great accuracy coming from this barrel ).
Those are the little adapter blocks I bought from Scopes and Ammo and you are correct they dont fit a rounded breech at all really. I milled the snot out of these to make them fit, and if I would do it again its an easy fix by just Flatening the breech top where they will be sitting. I actually may order another set and do this, or get some weaver mounting blocks and drill and tap the breech to fasten them.

Hey Remtom your very welcome. I'm glad your happy with it. That was one of several barrels I did to show that you can get MOA accuracy out of the stock barrels. That's a sweet lookin setup you have there. I really like the revised RVA!

    Sholo....
Stay tuned, I have a little project coming out in the next few days that may solve your problem of mounting a weaver on a rounded breech......A family visit has brought shop time ....and everything else to a screeching halt
