    Stock making

Are there some places to look at DIY stock making? The last stock I made was on the lathe and its not wood and not an air rifle stock either. I have an idea for my new project QB

I found a pictorial on how to cut your stock apart, remove things, add things and pin it all together with glue dowels and clamps. It actually put simplicity into the thought and it turned out very nice. I do like to see woodgrain but this method requires to be painted finish.
