    Help with HPA tank leak

Hi to all, happy Black Friday.
I have a issue with my Guerrilla 48 Cu in HPA tank, it leaks down to regulator pressure (800-850 psi) and then stays put. AFAIK it was fine when new. Has the regulator "failed"? it's got a myth micro regulator on it. Twice I have pumped it up to 1500 psi and then when I come back to it a day later it's leaked down to reg pressure. After the first incident, I pumped it to 1000 psi and attached a balloon to the ASA fitting and one to the fill fitting and left it overnight, all was fine. Then I immersed the bottle in soapy water to look for bubbles... no bubbles. So I continued pumping to 1500 psi and again, it has leaked out overnight. I can pump it back to 1500 psi and do the bubble check, but if anyone has any advice on what's going on I'd appreciate it. It takes a few pump strokes to get it from 1000-1500 psi (sure glad I didn't go to 3000 last time).

I'm guessing you haven't had the reg apart to clean and re-lube it? I had a similar incident with my Crossfire 68 ci tank and had to mix up some dish detergent and water to find the exit of the leak. Mine was coming out of the little 1/16'' hole below the gauge. A good cleaning, new orings, and a good lube of silicone grease got mine back in action. I have learned how important efficiency is with a hand pump and a 68ci

I would agree- likely crap built up in the regulator on/around the valvestem.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

OK, thanks. It looks like I can get the innards out by unscrewing the flange at the top. Who knew?
I'll try cleaning, lubing and new O-rings.
This HPA/PCP stuff sure is leaky! LOL.

    NOW you tell me, LOL.
I pulled it apart, cleaned and lubed it and reassembled it... where am I to get new O-rings of funky size at this time of night anyhow. Tank pumped up to 500 psi.. (about 150 strokes into it).

600+ strokes later, problem fixed. Holds air again at 3000 psi.
Now I will to go sight in my 78D...

After I got into high end paintball markers (Ego's) I started using fill nipple caps to keep dirt out of that area.
