For sure.
I'm not happy to see 15 yr olds (or any age for that matter) getting shot/killed by cops, but if this is his mentality and how he acts at 15, with a 'harmless' pellet gun, what would he do when he's 25? Next time could be a 12 gauge.

If he had of just punched the kid (hell, hit him repeatedly until the teachers pulled him off), and left it at that, then he would be still here today. But bringing a gun of any kind to school to settle things up, and refusing to lower it when instructed to (repeatedly)? The outcome doesn't surprise me at all. Sad, yes. Surprising, no.

Like Hammer said, it only takes a few bad apples to ruin it for the rest of us.

I respect the RCMP and what they do every shift. If I was to flash one of my air rifles I would already know the consequences beforehand. Many do not know how risks are assessed by our police this day in the world.
