    2240 envy

Probably like everyone else who ever picked up an airgun I'm modding a 2240 and thought I was doing ok (thanks Eric) but now having seen Merlyn's grips I'm off to the Wood source in the hope I might create something that slightly resembles grips. (thanks Merlyn)IMG-20120105-00142.jpg

Nice mods...your doing a fine job!

Woodsource is a great place. I get lost there all the time. Thats where I got the last walnut slab I picked up.

A word of advice...Be careful, keep your hands in your pockets;)

    Ohh, shiney!

What's a "Woodsource"? Some sort of fine-wood store?
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Woodsource is a local Ottawa wood retailer, great resource for any wood related hobby.

Yessir. Go for a drive to Manotick. Spend an hour or two at woodsource then head over to the Black Dog Bistro for dinner with the missus

...perfect way to ruin an afternoon

You guys are killing me here. Imagine, a classy exotic wood store and a classy restaurant all in the same day. All that would be needed to top that off would be some classy exotic dancers to get the mind off all the rifle blanks and pistol grip blanks that we picked up earlier in the day. Wish I lived close by that store of yours.

I dunno- based on my experience I think that may be an oxymoron.

Don't take the missus there? And you aren't going to get your mind off.........

You guys are too sharp for me. When you are my age, everything in life is classy and exotic---even the 'missus'. But, there ain't nothing as classy and exotic as as a well tuned and accurate airgun.
