    Exceeding the speed limit-2240

Does a otherwise stock 2240 with 14in. barrel that exceeds the 500fps. limit also exceed the 5.7 joules/4.2ft. lbs. limit as well?

    Yup, sure does...http://www.airgunhome.com/pages/calculators.html

    CPHP 14.3 gr @ 501 fps = 7.97 fpe
    RWS Hobby 11.9 gr @ 501 = 6.6 fpe
    RWS Hypermax 9.9 gr @ 501 = 5.5 fpe

Best make sure you stay under 500 fps!
