That's a great idea! Gunzlaw discovered that the small caps held in plastic circular clips are EXACTLY .177 in size and can be placed on pellets. I don't remember if they go bang when they hit something or when exiting the barrel.

Seriously the Dollar Store has hundreds of possible target idea. Just walk in there with an open mind. And everything is a dollar!
I love buying stuff at yard sales too.

Dollar stores around here ("Dollarama" for the most part) haven't carried the little plastic army men for a few years now. I love to shoot those things when I get a chance. B@stards!
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

One of the guys here on the forum has told a story about how he involves his sons in airgun target shooting.
Now his sons now gladly offer up their old toy soldiers as long as they get to shoot them

So, has anybody heard anything different on these yet? Or if it is legal to make them?

Never did- lots of little plastic animals- no soldiers.

Have you seen some in a store anywhere?

They usually have them in Dollar stores here. They are not as satisfying to shoot as they once were. The current plastic is too brittle and they explode.

I dunno- exploding actually sounds kinda cool. However, I'm guessing it's not too active an explosion...

On that note, I did pick up a dozen bags of these things from the Buck or Two I visited in Toronto while there last week- thanks for the tip, Fastair! Haven't shot any yet to see how they react.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...
