I suspect this means they really don't know how to ship things- a carrier able to handle "hazardous materials"- assuming these would be classified as such- is common (i.e. all the "big name" couriers can do it- Fedex, UPS, DHL, etc.) so who knows if something will ever come out of them.
I'm not sure it would be backyard friendly LOL

That's probably it.....IATA is universal, anyone certified could ship a can of gasoline from here to China, as long as they pack it right.

I just think "The Britons" don't want to ship to a former colony, lest we rise up, and revolt against the crown.

Maybe they could label the shipment as crumpets, okay maybe exploding crumpets
I guess we'll have to find a way to fabricate our own from locally available stuff.
But we can't discuss that project here publicly. That would be highly illegal.

I don't think such a thing would be illegal- ? Even if you designed such a thing and used highly-controlled/regulated black powder- as long as you have the appropriate licensing to purchase/use the black powder- what make is illegal? About the only thing I can think of would be if it were a "bomb" of sorts that could cause damage beyond small burning of the area around which it sits when set off. Mind-you, I might be out-to-lunch on this as I'm not up-to-date on anything "explosive" legally-speaking.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

I'm thinking it's a small dab of one or another fulminate or Armstrong's mixture such as was in the paper roll caps we played with.Does anyone know where you can buy those roll caps?

I have seen them from time to time. There are tons online. Your best bet is to try walmart/toy store or a dollar store.

Oh that gives me an idea. Taping a strip of caps to a post and shooting at it. I wonder if I'm a good enough of a shot to hit a single cap at 10 yds?

"2RCHA" is also a member here- perhaps if he pops by he might enlighten us on this some more?

Saw rolls of caps at the $ store a couple of days ago but never thought of buying any to shoot.
