    Crosman MK I First Variant

Seeing as life keeps throwing a wrench into my plans, I guess I'll get rid of 1 or 2 guns so I can finish 1 or 2 more!

Up for sale is one of my MK I's. It is one of the first variants with the power adjustment screw and lever style Co2 cap. I have stripped it down, removed all factory casting lines and painted all zinc-alloy parts (gripframe, trigger guard, barrel shroud) with satin black VHT Rollbar&Chassis epoxy paint. All steel parts have been stripped, cleaned, re-blued and oiled. Hammer, hammer guide/sleeve, trigger contact points and valve have been polished extensively, with a light coat of moly paste burnished in (obviously, no moly on the valve!). New seal kit installed, shoots good: low power - 330 fps, high power - 435 fps with 14.3 gr ammo, adjustment screw turned in for "full" power.
$175 including shipping anywhere in Canada. EMT or postal MO (sorry, no PayPal account!)

    Thanks for looking,
    Todd

Did you refinish this one? It looks almost "mint". That is one of the cleanest Mk I's I've seen the the last few years (and I have seen quite in a few for repair and posts of others for sale).

    Thanks for the compliment, Eric.

Yes, I did refinish it about 3 1/2 months ago. As for being "mint" - it might not be 100% perfect, but pretty damn close (it's at least 37 years old, afterall!) If it sells, perfect - I will be one step closer to that elusive LW. But, to be honest, I won't be heartbroken if it doesn't...
