Nothing has changed- but there is a 'window' where things can be edited- I would have to check, but it might be one day, or maybe 12 hours or such- after that, the post is non-editable by the poster. This stops the old suck-out situation of " 'ef youse guys, I'm leaving and deleting everything I ever posted" leaving topics threadbare or nonsensical if they are looked at in future.
