Looks FABULOUS, Sean.... How did the chamber work out, or are you going to taper lap it first?.... I can't wait to see it.... BTW, what is the OD of the CF tubing?....

Dominion Marksman Silver Shield - 5890 x 6000 in 1976, and downhill ever since!
Airsonal: Too many to count!
The chamber worked out really good.
It is 0.2255 to a 10deg step at 0.525" in
then it is 0.2245 for 0.125" (this section will likely be affected by the lap and end up at 0.2248....ish)
then 1 1/2 deg leade
The base of the bullet will need to be 0.515+ from the breech end
The OD of the CF measures 0.611" max

You'll need to chuck the barrel and indicate the bore then screw on your stripper and bore a skim pass....mine is off so I expect yours may be
Oh and we have bullets . Mrs picked up the parcel today

KEWL !!!.... I phoned Mike Sayers and passed along your compliments on the consistent bore size throughout.... told him we were very pleased....

Two hours of lapping later and things are looking better. But the throat is still too tight

Hard to see from the photo.... but it looks like the grooves are no longer touching the bullet?....

Sorry Bob that's a crappy pic
Here is what we have after a bit more work on the throat. You can see the contact mark in the grooves best on pic 3. Minimal smearing and full contact.
