reading threads new to old or old to new.

I don't know if it can be changed anyway, but do people generally like reading the newest post of a thread as the first post (like here ) or as the last (like the CAF) ?

I like the newest post to be viewed last, myself. Suppose it's just what I'm used to.

If you want to change it, go to "forum actions" at top of page, then click on "general settings", scroll down to "thread display options", pick your preferance!

You and me both, buddy! Believe me, I was shocked that I was able to give any type of 'computer advice' at all! Hell, I can't even post a pic without having to use the 'attachments' thingy . Doesn't really matter, just doesn't look as neat/tidy compared to other pics I've seen posted.

I wasn't bs-ing when I said this software could do just about anything!

If it weren't so damned quirky in respect to getting things set-up, however...
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Thanks to Eric I have been able to sort out some of the problems I have had.I still find it more complicated than I think it needs to be.

I have to say I find this new software to be easier to use and more intuitive than any other BBS I have ever used.

The handy dandy uploader tool takes all the work out of resizing a pic to post.

You have a lot of options if you like using them. You can choose what line a pic will appear in or simply batch post the whole string.

I'll ditto that last one. Where do you find all this "upload picture" stuff? I am wandering around in the dark hoping a pic shows up if I hold my mouth right.

When you reply to a thread down at the bottom right of the typing box are several buttons

Click "go advanced" that expands the post options from the "Quick reply"

scroll down until you see "Attachments-Manage Attachments"

Click "Manage Attachments" and that opens the uploader tool and lets you do all sorts of things with pics and files you want to post
