Just finished this one today....I'm really liking the look of it. Made to fit a 16mm LW barrel in .177.
Pics are sort of a progression...

Airsonal: Too many to count!
Man that's gorgeous. The side vents ? Something like a 10deg plunge with a 1/2 end mill?
Have you done any testing yet? I see the nozzle setback is fully adjustable. What nozzle size have you decided on
How are you indexing to the bore.
C'mon Al....jeez your killin me here
Sean
Sean, plunge cut with a 1/2" end mill is correct. Three vents equally spaced, flat on the bottom is to improve clearance for fill apparatus. Have only tested it mounted to my barrel which went fine...further testing will be done by a fellow in California.
Have only done one that was indexed to the bore...used a pilot and dial indicator to center the bore in the four jaw, install stripper and finish boring for the cone. That one the cone is bore id + .004". Cone is drilled/reamed as an oversized cylinder then turned to size between centers.
Can't index to the bore if you don't have the barrel....best I can do is keep clearances tight and everything concentric. Entrance to the cone is .190" for 1/2" then opens up.
Might be an idea to bore for a loose fit on the barrel and mount with 6 grub screws....make a long pilot.........?
Poil, have a few of my own projects I'd like to get done with before taking on more for other folks...will check with you when things ease up a bit and see if you're still interested.

She's a beauty! Nice work
If you get bored during the long winter months, I'd be happy to contribute to the 'beer funds'!

Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweatty things!
Seems that stripper worked out rather well.
Was contacted by a fellow who shoots with the owner and asked to make him one. Large one is for him...fits a .710"od .22cal barrel. Have the cones about done, need one more trip over the mill to drill/tap for grub screws and slot the cones...then it's sand and polish time.
