After finishing the end-cap I started on my latest project, not telling what it is yet though :D
Started with 1.500"x3.3"x6.5" P.G. Aluminum...
Squared up to 1.500"x3.000"x6.000"... +/- .001"

Well I have done much more work to this piece and it is now mounted, and has a few additional pieces attached to it as well... Just need to get some more pictures when I can

Alright...you have me amused.
Still can't even begin to guess what it is
Sean
The scale of the photo makes it seem bigger than it is. My guess is that it is a version of Lee Ensfield flip up distance sight, with fixed aperture (like mil dots, sort of, but for opens)

Condor Adjustable Butt-pad Assembly
Made of 7075 T6 Aluminum ( T62, T651)
Main Body...
Swivel Plate... I put radius' on the ends to allow the adapter plate to rotate. The C'bores are M6 and have been modified to allow tapping the thru hole to M8, quick and easy way to hide things
Adapter Plate... As you can see this was cut with two 45* on the side that mates with the swivel plate, as I figured the 45*s are slipping, so I will be running a 1" BNE through there to give a .5"R to match the swivel plate, that should take about 30sec. Then I will be cutting the plate to match the profile of whatever rubber buttpad I decide to use...
Highest Setup...
Lowest Setup...Neither of the high/low setup are really practical, just showing the range of adjustment
This is how I have it set on my gun, as you can see it comes down 5.7" from the bottom of the air cylinder 8-) I now use high mounts only, this puts the cylinder higher up on my face and makes it act as a cheek rest, and is much easier (and more comfortable) to shoot

Absolutely brilliant.
I'm guessing the increased LOP worked out better for you as well
Sean
Thank you, and yes it added just over 2" to the LOP, as was also part of the plan, and why the plates are as thick as they are...I have a few other things on the go as well, once I get through those I think I am going to make a fluted breech for the condor with hammer slap mod
