Damn! ( in case anyboy figues TL/DR)

    Quackenbush-modified Crosman 2240 - .25 caliber
    61°F - Muzzle at start screen - 10 shots - 10-second interval between shots
    Diana Magnum pellets, 20 grains

    High - 456 f.p.s.
    Low - 435 f.p.s.
    Average - 441 f.p.s.
    Extreme spread - 21 f.p.s.
    Standard deviation - 6 f.p.s.
    Muzzle energy - 8.64 ft.-lbs.
30-35 good shots from a single powerlet,

I might need to get a 2240.... and a case of those powerlets and a few tins of pellets......

Would you mind measuring the barrel od please? .500"od (OR greater) would be perfect for a swap barrel on this .32 project.

    Thanks.

It is 0.50" with a slight bit of runout- ranges from 0.495" to 0.5015" on the points I took measurements with the 'ol CrapTire digital calipers...
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

How long is the .25 cal MRod barrel?.... what machining has been done to it (O-ring grooves, transfer ports, etc.) that would have to be removed.... ie how much is left?.... Lastly, do you know if they are choked?....

According to a quick google...the barrel is listed as 20" and choked. Just looking at pictures of the complete rifle, looks like no more than 2 1/2-3" length would be lost in a worst case scenario.

20" long, choked, machining for a transfer port/o-ring and a divot at the muzzle end outside the crown going about 0.030" in for what is likely a slight recess for the Marauder air stripper to rest in.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Bolt to fit a 22xx breech- would need to be fabricated, barrel would need to be machined down to fit the breech.

The problem with such a project is the fabrication- you need to have some machining skills, or know someone who does to get the barrel re-worked and a bolt made to be able to fit up to the 22xx frame/breech.
Can you order these barrels in Eric? If I can buy one I will definitely do some machining and see where I end up

Come to think of it, I have a riser breech about ready to go, I could just drill it out to .500"
