Bushnell Banner 4-12x40.. How far down does the AO go?

    Hello everybody,

I was looking at the Bushnell Banner 4-12x40, Multi X Reticle, Adjustable Objective on scopes and ammo and was wondering just how far down the AO will adjust to.

You would think the manufacturer would get smart and add these to the items page

    Thanks for the help,
    Eric

One thing also not mentioned in the Banner's description is it's "wide view" setup. Didn't notice this until I was installing one on a Condor last night- and saw "wide view" printed on the scope tube. Sure enough- it is wider than alot of other scopes when looking through. I haven't test it yet, but based on initial impressions it appears to be a good unit- especially for the price:

I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Yea, that is exactly where I was looking at it. ;) The wide view scopes are interesting though. Was looking at a chrony since your prices are better than D&L and they dont offer package prices :( Not sure if I should go with 4-12 the or the 6-18 since it will be used for anything and everythign that comes up

The 4X is brighter on low power (and high power, for that matter).... and I find that anything over 12X is a waste of time unless you are bench shooting at long range.... My favourite airgun scope is a 3-9....

The 4-12X Banner is a good scope. Huge deal for the money. If you're gonna spend for the 6-18X, spend a little more, and get the 6-24X Banner- much better scope than the 6-18X. The 6-24X Banner is no longer on the Bushnell site, but there are still some left. Wholesale Sports in Winnipeg still has some...
