I'm looking at the QB78D or the AR2078A air rifles and I can't find any clear pictures or details stating it they have dovetails for a scope. Do they?

If using regulated HPA, protect the gun with a 1.8K burst disc on the downstream side of the regulator.... otherwise the gun could see 3000 psi (or 4500 if you are using a 4500 psi tank) if the regulator bypasses.... The 1.8K burst disc will limit you to 1500-1600 psi maximum otherwise it may blow the disc....

They are fantastic rifles all around.
You can accurize them for target level performance. Lots of them are being used as FT platforms. They take to HPA very easily. And can be switched back to c02 by screwing on an end cap....Can't say anything bad about them really.

Let's not be totally misleading- sometimes they need to be disassembled and cleaned when new- Chinese factory sometimes isn't so good on "cleanup".
That being said, they are likely the best value for money in airguns, period- but be prepared to do a bit of work to make it as good as it can be. Don't get me wrong, they will shoot fine out-of-the-box, but a little cleaning can go a long way (think of having a seal kit nearby if taking it apart).
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...
