Actually they are very nice looking aren't they Al
Now comes the tense part
Sean
"tense"? There's so much meat on those barrels you could likely -ef things up a couple times before it becomes a concern!
And an AAA+++ for Al- knows what he wants, everything done smoothly/timely- never an issue!
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...
Yes that would be a good one.
I checked very quickly and it looked like the end with the barrel stamps was the muzzle.
The other would be making sure the chambering ream is spot on before that last pass. A mistake there would be a total bummer.

Great to hear the blanks have arrived and shipping places me that much closer to one of my own. Soon as the machining can be done. Hats off to those out there willing to take on this work for those of us not able. Question about the barrel OD, will I be able to use a standard QB78d barrel band with one of these new barrels.
John
Possibly- haven't defined the exact machining process to be done just yet- but the barrels are quite thick- I would need to measure, but I'm betting 16mm (maybe 15) would would mean either filing out a stock barrel band or having a bit shaved off the barrels. Will update on machining when this is all plotted out...
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...
Standard LW barrels are 16mm (just over 5/8") and the QB barrels are 14mm (Standard) or 15mm (Deluxe).... The barrels I had were stamped on the breech end.... the other end was choked....

Airsonal: Too many to count!
Could be that silly X stamped right on the bore causing a constriction on these ones. Good to know though I'll chamfer that and check again with the pin gauges.
