How are the nitro pistons holding up ?

Was thinking of converting a B18 over to a nitro piston. Since they have been around for a while now, I was wondering how they are holding up, power and reliability wise ?

I've had great luck with the one I put into my phantom 18 months ago. Just over 10,000 rds through it now. I do religiously put a drop of #1 machine oil on the ram though.

I have had similar results Paddy!! I have 3 guns with them in it and have had no problems. My Benny Trail is 2 and a half years old and still going strong. Do it, you won't regret it!!

There have been, based on the number of units I have heard of being returned under warranty or requiring a new strut once out of warranty, a very low defect rate on the NP rifles. I was expecting them to be alot worse than they have been, but after a couple years, still nothing noticeable in respect to problems...
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

I thought there may be quite a few in the first year or so, thats why I have held off this long. I wanted to see how many cycles they would hold up to.

Just shoot the hell out of it and any defects should show up sooner than later! You won't regret it, I promise...
