Congrats, I was about to send Gillis an offer when I saw your PM Sent, so I backed off. LOL
These are the same action as a HW95 (Beeman R9), although Beeman did import them as the R11. The HW98 has an adjustable stock and bull barrel, and no open sights - with scope it will be well over 10 lbs, maybe even 11 lbs.
In non-PAL flavour it will be a tame shooter, expect close to 500 fps with normal pellets, and maybe a bit of spring twang.
I would just shoot it a bunch and let it be for a couple tins anyhow. Enjoy, I'm a bit envious. Oh, clean the barrel when you get it, then lead it up yourself - at least you'll know its your own goobers in there.

Thanks for the info Dave! I am glad to hear it is the same action as the 95 as I have already taken a couple apart for friends and cleaned them up. A little heavy for a basement shooter but I will definately be bringing her to the Chatham show to put her thru the paces so to speak. Will have a look at Maccari kits now as well. New toy, happy boy!!!
