    Friday Pellets?

Is there such a thing as a Friday batch of pellets? Well I think that I just got a batch of Crosman HP .177 the other day. I just get my new QB78 .177 back together from a good cleaning and deburring. Opened a new tin of 500 "Premier" Crosman HP to try out as I have read many people have not bad luck with them and this is what I find.

Uneven skirts and bad hollow pointing.

Did I get a batch of Friday pellets?

I have received bad batches of all kinds of brands over the years of air- gunning 37 now but some of the worst in the last ten years have been crosman pellets in general .........

buckshot, try out some JSB pellets! I have yet to be overly disappointed with any batch I have purchased. Very little skirt deformation if at all... Just try them!

I've had some batches of Crosman pointed where half of them fell through the barrel....

I did shot a few of them to see what they would and yes they were all over the place. I will have to try some JSB pellets as Pactoo suggested and maybe some H&N's on my next order. I know that every air rifle likes a different pellet but what would be a good start for QB78 in .177 used for plinking and pesting birds(blackbird the largest).

I am trying not to have 20 tins of pellets and only use 2 or 3 that shoot the best. But then again that the joy of air rifles LOL.
