To answer your question - No, I wasn't planning on it. Don't get me wrong, if it needs it I will make one, but it is actually very sturdy despite how the pictures look. Like Bob's fancy unit, the bottle is the fore stock, and there is no flex in it at all. Don't forget - these fittings are not the ones you find at Canadian Tire. They are alot beefier (CT,on left, - .065" wall thickness, Swagelok ones are .112", measured at the threads)
Of course, this doesn't mean that they are indestuctable - and truth be known, maybe I should have gone with S/S fittings (which I may end up doing yet) - but as long as I treat it like a gun, not an axe or sledgehammer, they should be fine. But, yes, I will try to make sure I don't smack it around too much.
On a side note, I tried a few shots today (no scope/sights, just curious about #'s), CPHP=958 fps, Polymags=927 fps.
