My sons neighbor gave him an old crosman marksman 1745 today and was wondering if there is anything I can do to spruce it up a bit for him? I'm looking at it and wondering how it works..lol

For every mile of road, there's two miles of ditch
I did a thread on the other forum when I stripped down mine. These are basic rifles with odd-ball parts, but principles are the same. Strip -polish - lube. Mine is currently shooting around 350 fps with light lead, and being smooth bore groups about 2" at 10 yards. I was my only rifle for about 10 years, and I taught all my 6 kids shooting and safety with it.
