    CenterPoint 4-16 AO Adventure class

Pretty slow day on the forum so I thought I would post an early review of a new scope I got from Eric today.

I've been looking for a decent glass for pellet and barrel testing. I read a lot of reviews and decided the CenterPoint 4-16 AO Adventure Class should work and it is very reasonably priced in it's class.

My very first impression is WOW is this thing ever bright. I can read a book placed at the far end of the house. Very impressive sharpness.

The turrets are nice and big with very crisp 1/4 MOA clicks.

Tomorrow with luck I'll get this thing on a rifle or two and give it a workout...stay tuned

It's going to bounce around from platform to platform. I got it so that when I was testing pellets, ammo or parts I could take eyesight and parallax out of the equation.

I have a couple of those scopes, and I think they are pretty nice.
I plan on getting a couple more.

Well I did get out for some distance shooting today. I was on the 50m range and decided to give my recently restored Model 60 and my AR2078 a bit of a workout.IMG083.jpg You can just see the target in the very center of the image.

I dialed the velocity to 500fps with Crosman Field Targe with the rifle ponied to the bottle.and put about 20 shots downrange adjusting the scope and seasoning the bore.

The results are I am very impressed with the scope. I could actually see the 10 on a 10m ISSF target at 50m. Impressive considering it's only half a millimeter.

IMG085.jpgI have no idea where the 5th shot is unless it was a pass through.

I actually haven't used them so far. But if I wasn't bouncing it from rifle to rifle I'd be all over that. Nice feature.
