Steel versus Alumium?

Hi Guys,

Any preference between steel and alumium scuba tanks?
If so why?
Have both and am getting ready to fill them this week.

NO difference.... Some shops refuse to fill aluminum after 15 years, regardless of Hydro test.... That isn't the law, they just refuse.... There are some older aluminum tanks that are not allowed to be filled because of the alloy chosen unless they are specially inspected (and most shops can't do that)....
