using a Crosman 88g AirSource to Paintball Adapter on a QB78D

Not on a QB78- you do not have a paintball connector on it- it has an outside thread for the cap. You could use this adapter and 88g canisters with a QB79- which has a paintball thread on it.

If you want to bulk-fill a QB78 with a tank and hose, you can use an adapter like the one that comes with the AR207x target rifles, or an aftermarket brass unit.
