When I was doing some research last summer I found out that LW-US would sell to individuals but would not ship to Canada.

LW-EU will ship to Canada but they will only sell to dealers (and Canadian orders actually get shipped from LW-US when ordered from LW -EU)

Perhaps you need to do the arrangements through EU

I am beginning to suspect that LW USA is alot smaller than we might imagine. Not sure how LW Europe is going to assist in things at this point- American has obviously been dealing with customers who blame the barrels for their own errors- underlining the need for them to not sell barrels one-off, raw, to individuals - this is why 'dealers' exist. Some places may never learn, however.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Barrels have hit the US transit point- will likely be here in two weeks based on previous history. Everything people requested here is coming in, as well as a few extra .177s, a couple .22s and some .25s- so if someone needs a barrel that was on the list, they should be covered. Will update again when they actually arrive here...

the first post lead me to believe that these barrels would be a relacement for standard barrels.
similar to the crosman barrels for 2240 etc..
will they have transfer ports... etc ?
I haven't taken my new AR2078LE apart yet to see how much is involved with setting up a new barrel.
Okay i will admit to taking the stock off and sanding the horrible finish to bare wood on the first day I had it.

No, these are barrel "blanks" and need to be machined to fit whatever application, and then blued. This should have been pretty clear from the first post - "no machining, all stock size, no bluing on them". That being said, they can be machined for people, but this would be at an additional fee which still needs to be determined.

No. These are un machined, un blued barrel blanks. They'll need to be machined to fit the reciever (pay attention to which end is choked ;) ), crowned and blued.

Am thinking to abandon the o-ring sealed setup on the QB's in favour of a proper barrel/reciever fit and a flat milled in the barrel to use a machined transfer port (similar to poly tubing a Crosman). Should be a more rigid setup...and simpler to machine. Will need to either manufacture a pellet tray, or drill through the machined tray for removal of forward reciever mount screw.

Will be exploring the pellet tray option myself.

Looking forward to trying an LW on my QB79.

    Edit:....and don't I type slow. lol

starting to get a little excited, extended tube installation is now done (thanks Eric), trigger sear polishing and two stage trigger mod is completed, and the new barrel is getting closer every day. It's going to be a great summer.
