I've ordered a Richards Microfit stock, my 4-16 leapers scope and one of these barrels I think I'd have a pretty sweet field target rifle for the summer.

Yessir that would be a very sweet rig. You would be in with the best as far as accuracy goes.

Okay- I should get on this. To confirm, what we have so far:

Sholo, 1 x .177 and 1 x .25
Grunt, 1 x .177 and 1 x .25
Gippeto: 1 x. 177 and 2 x .25
SeanMP: 2 x .177
just missed: 1 x .22

Giving a total of:

5 x .177
1 x .22
4 x .25

Sound about right?

I will likely order in a couple extra .22s and maybe 3 each of the .177 and .25- let's see what Lothar-Walther has to say...

I think Bob has bought so many barrels the last couple years he may be all "barreled out".

I am attempting to place an order for barrels (what people have said they want, plus some extras) with LW. Seems they are not the easiest people to get along with- want payment up-front via money order or cheque, will not ship outside the U.S. (which I had already known about)- so delay, delay, delay. Seems their rationalization for not accepting credit cards is that people have machined barrels incorrectly, then blamed them, and I guess we could then assume have gone to their credit card companies to complain. Seems weak to me as an excuse- this is not some lonely guy hiding in the trees ordering one barrel (apparently they haven't figured out the reasoning behind selling to dealers/gunsmiths, not end-use consumers, if they are a 'manufacturer').

In any event, working on it now- but this could mean delays of a few weeks.

Also helps explain why almost no one in Canada carries their products and virtually no one has inventory at any time- they make it difficult to do business and ordering their product in smaller quantities quickly becomes a total waste of time.
