    Lothar Walther Airgun barrel blanks...

As brought up in the other topic on QB LW barrels- airgun barrel blanks (no machining, all stock size, no bluing on them) would be $130.00 each, available in .177, .22 and .25 caliber, all are 0.630" (OD, this is slightly larger than 5/8", or 16mm) x 23.8" (L) and choked. Anything different and you would need to machine it/have it machined for your specific application. Essentially, their business is producing straight-up barrels and the idea of doing the machining does not appeal to them and they charge a good buck for it- so the idea is people either want one as produced and get the machining done themself, or do not order.

If we get a bunch of people who want one, I can get an order going with Lothar.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

    I'll take a .25 cal, for sure.

By the time you place an order, I'll decide whether or not to add a .177 to the list (FT project).

    Yessir...sign me up.

Is it a combined 10 units you are looking for or 10 of each caliber?

10 units of any caliber- as they are off-the-shelf "blanks" I don't think LW can be too discriminating. But the more, the better!

    Hi,

    What length(s) will be available?
    Will take a 22 to 24 inch long in .25 and .177.

Put me down two in .25...see how the shoot goes this weekend..may want one in .177 as well.

Any idea on delivery time once the order goes in?...waited 10 months for a Green Mountain .45 barrel ...not sure I want to do that again.

As stated above- .177, .22 and .25 caliber available- all are 23.8" and choked.

Delivery time- they tell me these are "shelf" items in the U.S. There will be some transportation time from the south to a warehouse then on to Canada, and likely some sort of paperwork on the US side. I would suggest a maximum of two weeks after I place an order they would be at the door- but need to get an order put together- which might be the most time consuming part of this.

Somebody go drag Bob away from his labours so he can put in his order....I'm betting on one every two months

Maybe I missed the boat on this barrel order, but I would be interested in a .22. I have no means of machining this to fit my QB78D, any interest in doing the work for a fee of course.

Yup....I would possibly be interested. Once I do a couple for myself so I don't screw up on someone elses. It's very straight forward machining except for the leade area which will probably require a couple custom made pieces of tooling.
