    restoration work not airgun

    i got a gift this week a verry pore condition mathews fx in need of tlc. plans are new string, new bearing for the cams , stripdown repaint ( target colors ) .

    first the bow how i recived it water damage: beraings are verry rough and some surface corosion on the riser. the harms are ok as carbon fibre is verry well made on those bow. the cable slide need replacing but it's prety cheap. all and all it will be a nice chalenge.

    I know absolutely nada about archery, but at least restoring that bow will keep you out of trouble for awhile!

    Not much an archery guy either- but if it shoots something- it can't be all bad...
    I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...
