Scope intermount for a model 60

This is off topic from normal airgun stuff but

I'm looking for the scope intermount for a Model 60 winchester or cooey.

To fit the 4 holes on the receiver.

I have checked Sail and Le Baron...No Joy

It was originally sold as the Weaver N2 side mount.

I will drag out the calipers tomorrow.

Williams still makes the original peep sight for it...it's a target model.

Is this implying that it has been modified?
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

    We have JoyIMG044.jpg

The secret to success is just drive around to country gun shops...I found it at my first stop.

Now I'm looking for a peashooter style scope. It must have a straight objective tube 1". I'm going for a look not performance capabilities. Even 2x power would be fine

    looks like this original

    Any suggestions?

The N-2 mount was used on several guns, and the first applications were dept. store offerings that could not be had any where else. In Canada, they were initially offered by Simpson's Sears, and then Eatons. Yes, at one time both Sears and Eaton's sold guns. The N-2 mount first appeared on the Marlin 39-A, and others quickly followed. Usual scope found in theses mounts is a Weaver B-2, or Weaver B-4...

The mount will only take a 3/4" tube scope. There's no way to get a 1" tube inside those rings...

    Regards,

It seems Weaver has dropped the "N" and now it's just the weaver #2. The package I picked up is the newer variant and it's 1" rings.......However that adds a new problem.
As you say all of the authentic or style authentic scopes are 3/4". But someone has offered a Weaver D4 which is 7/8" so I'll bush it out to 1"
