No Eric I did not put him up to this

This is the importer for LW in canada at this point

    Blue Mountain Sports Inc.

    phone: 001 506 468 2919

I have pursued it a little but the lead time was so long I decided to put all my efforts into perfecting the factory barrel.

What kind of wait time were you looking at? Prices? I too, would like to get my hands on a 24", .25 cal barrel.

You know the Hatsans are available with a LW barrel right? Dan stocks some as replacement parts, and can order if he doesn't have it.

Eric...you have something cooking with LW? Keep us updated please.

Blue Mountain doesn't like to answer their phone...or so it seems at the moment...we'll see if they return calls or not. ;)

Blue Mountain has always been a bit unscheduled in the way they do things from what I hear.

I had looked at one barrel manufacturer for QB barrels- they didn't work out, so LW in the US has been sent a note- we'll see when they respond.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

I did notice that Al and made an enquiry. But they are 14mm and I happen to have the AR version which needs a 15mm in order for the front tunnel sight to mount. And they come premachined for the hatsan. Not the end of the world but you then would have to slice off machining your paying a premium for.

When I talked to them in September they were talking 6 months to get enough confirmed orders together to place an order with LW....don't remember an exact price but it struck me at the time that it was almost double what LW will sell a barrel to ordinary Joe in the US

Haha well he wasn't before....never know now

I have been prattling away for awhile now about aftermarket barrels for the QB/AR's and it was just a couple days ago we were discussing LW barrels and their viability.

    Just darn good timing...Thanks Remtom

I spent a lot of hours on this rifle and I am thinking a nice barrel will finish it. I am very interested about what is or will be available.

    Me too

But things are happening so it's just a matter of crossing our fingers and hoping for the best.
