    Prototype SSP Match Rifle

Not scheduled for production until 2013, Single Stroke Pneumatic match rifle from Xisico, the "Paradigm".

    Apparently shoots 600fps in .177, 7.9gr.

Love it...I bet that baby wont be cheap.

I see it has a match post trigger....ask them if you can take it apart for a quick peek

That one would be match legal for FT and Running target. Have you seen anything for ISSF 10m that doesnt say "Anschutz" on it?

I doubt anyone's going to let me take it apart- but if things go well, I'm hoping to get one of the first production units when they appear for evaluation (but not for a long while at this point)...

Well, I didn't bother going to look at Anschutz- pricey, not much market for it in Canada it seems. Airforce had the same-old, same-old and Daystate I avoided because I think their main sales rep. is in the wrong job (i.e. should not be in sales) and I find him annoying. Other than that, nothing else of competition merit was seen- no real "innovations" in airguns of any sort- although Crosman has a new underlever (which I will post elsewhere) that seemed to be of a very good quality (as in nothing like the Chinese B3/B4).

Have liked the Webley Paradigm since it was initially announced. Is this a "faithful" copy? ie...uses the blow open valve, and bellevilles on the compression piston.

    Good looking rifle.

Couldn't check the internals (wasn't allowed to kick it too hard, unfortunately). Based on the other Chinese products out there, I bet it has all the same parts- so the question becomes 'will it operate as well'? Or will it be like a AR207x's and a bit of a "diamond in the rough"?
