Some are standard, some are not, still others are likely custom threads.... The most common screws in Crosman are 4-40, 6-32, and 8-32, which are all UNC (and commonly available), but for example they also use 4-48 and 6-40, which are UNF (and much harder to find).... The commonly used 10-32 UNF is also handy to have around.... along with 10-24 UNC, which is not as common in airguns, but still easy to obtain....

Yey... thanks for that Bob. It was mainly the 8-32 I was interested in for pinning a Disco valve. This now confirms what I thought. Here in the UK, everything is now metric, but imperial is still available in some suppliers.

The discovery valve screws are available from Crosman/scopes and ammo.com. Be aware that they are only rated for 2000 psi. If you plan on using a higher pressure fill, you'll have to go to a hardened 10X32 low head socket cap screw, as made by Holokrome, YFS, and others. The reason for that is it's the only way to get a screw head large and low enough for the holes in the disco tube. It's a minor matter to bore out and tap the valve holes.

Ye thanks Doc. I have Crosman screws but I am after low head socket cap screws for an allen key instead of the cross heads. I can't get them here in UK, majority of suppliers only use metric sizes. So will have to re tap them.
