    Stronger 760 Hammer Spring

Can anyone suggest a hammer spring that is stronger then the stock 760 spring? Tried shimming it with a 1 cm section of pencil, but it seemed to cant the spring too much for my liking. Anyone know of a stronger spring that is relatively the same length?

    Thanks.

Hammerspring from a Crosman 2200 is slightly more rigid, about the same length.
I'd say I care- but I'd probably be lying...

Thanks AirGunEric (in stock per chance?) Was getting better consistency with the plugged valve but not as much power as I thought I would get. (What's a U.S. 760 fire at anyways?) I figured a stronger hammer spring would help.

    $2.25

A non-detuned 760 shoots, realistically, around 580-600fps. However, keep in mind that anything over 500fps and you have a "firearm" for which a firearms license is required to own in Canada.

She's running at the legal limit now but it was pretty busted before the fix. I'd guess if I didn't mess it up then it would be probably pushing those velocities closer to around 580. Still think I'm just gonna rip it for parts though. (I hate plastic.) Was all for experimenting anyhow.

But hasn't everyone heard? The new legal limit is not 500... Its' 215 fps !!! That's right. According to an article printed in Out of Doors Ontario magazine, some judge has recently declared that anything over 215 is lethal. RCMP has still not commented on the ruling.

(Anyways, next time I place an order I'm going to PM you prior for some other parts. Need a 2240 valve to see if I can HPA an IZH-61.)

    Thanks

    Thanks
