    .177 Predators in the 1701-P

Finally got a spare hour to sit with the "P" in carbine configuration with the Polymag Predators.

2600 psi in the tube, and the Predators clock tight, 462-468 fps over ten shots. Shot for group first, with the bore not conditioned to the predators... 12 meters, 4X, ten shots.

This LW bbl. seems to take a few conditioner shots to walk the p.o.i. back to zero. Gun and scope were sighted in for the JSB Exact Diablos. I can live with it. Scope is one of my old favorites~ early sixties Weaver B-4 4X.

Just another one of those shorty sessions that gave me an incredible sense of well being...

What's all that splatter to the left and above your target circle?

Time to turn the back-stop around. Most of it is 5 shot groups out of the hpa'd 78 in .22 cal. There's 8 layers of rubber backed stain-master carpet in there... and I have it on good authority that it don't take that many .22 predators to pass through all the way~ just a minor irritation with a tight grouping cheapie chinese rifle

I'm thoroughly intrigued with this pistol. The manual that came with it references it as a marauder pistol twice... and I've been fighting this urge to base another build off of it... and then when I'm almost decided to proceed with testing, I can't find the time.
