If only one air rifle?
Sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't find a thread answering my question.
I'm looking for an air rifle to take squirrels, crows, grouse and rabbits. Not looking to spend more then $300-350. If possible what is in that range that doesn't involve air tanks or pumps? I want one rifle and that is it.
Thanks

A springer. You could go with a Weihrauch, a Benjamin or something else, .22 caliber- although with the rabbits you would likely need more than a "detuned" model (i.e. you would need one requiring a firearm license).

A PAL rated rifle would be your best option, ideally in .22 or even better in .25 like Benjamin Trail XL: http://www.crosman.com/airguns/rifle...arrel/BT725WNP
A PCP would be better to shoot accuratly but you would need a pump but it's easy to pump and you can get a discovery with the pump for around your budget.

Aaaaaand....cue Hammer with the Benjamin Trail Love-fest.
<500...beauty. I'd wear this gun like stink on a monkey out in the wild.
Accurate as all get-out, ULTRA-reliable, and if you buy the "all weather", the stock is plastic, and you can tap & screw all sorts of sh!t to it.
Ask anyone, I have some sort of perverted love affair with that airgun....
I blame Eric.
That being said, the >500...I have no idea, but if you're packing a BOB and you have a PAL...fill yer' boots.

I concur with Hammer Sandwich. The BS Trail is an awesome break barrel and will get the job done., target or small varmint.
The scope it comes with is one of the best out there also.
