There are 2 ways to remove the stock knob.

1- unscrew knob all the way. Continue to turn it, and the plastic will come off (you may need pliers).
Once the knob is removed, you will see 2 "wings" on the bolt. Cut just above these with a dremel or similar tool. Remove the stock bolt, and install the new one.

2- disassemble the bottom section of the pistol. You will need to drive out the pins that hold the center section of plastic in the bottom of the frame. This is what holds the CO2 bolt in.
