Hatsan AT44 10 QE .25

Hello,

I purchased this gun just 2 months ago. I have about 200 shots through it so far. (It's old this time of year in Wisconsin). I saw where it is a good idea to clean the barrel when you get a new airgun so I was trying to remove the shroud to get to the barrel but the end cap is so tight I'm afraid I'm going to scratch up the end of the shroud trying to get it off. There is no way to budge it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Why do you need to remove the shroud to clean the barrel? Use an aluminum cleaning rod and feed it through the shroud and into the barrel.
