Im looking to get a scope and my budget is around 250 CAD.
as being a newbe have 2 questions When shooting 50 to 100 yards with my Diana 52
What magnification should i be looking for on 1” targets
Does a First focal point crosshair get to big for 1” targets
What budget scope That will hold up do you guys recommend that i can pick up from Canadian suppliers.

First off, I don't think you're going to find any sort of worthwhile first focal plane reticle scope for $250.00 or less, so it's not something to talk about in this context.
As for other/second focal plane scopes, you're not looking at a whole lot of magnification at 50-100 yards for a 1" target- i.e. a 3-12x magnification would be fine, a 4-16x would also work, anything over that is a waste of time.
As we're talking airguns, you would also want an adjustable objective or side parallax adjustment (side parallax is less of a pain to operate).
