Great stuff, Eric.... I assume it's detuned with a bleed hole in the valve like the 2289?....
Bob
Well, it appears that they have put a "Canadian" model number on it- but the standard US Version was indicated to max-out 495fps- so I don't know if it in fact has been modified or not. If it has, it will be a bleed in the valve (it's what they've done on all the other detuned pumpers in the past). They "blister pack these and the 1377's so I have not opened one up as of yet.
I stuck a 10" 22 barrel on my 1377 just for giggles last summer and cobbled up a bolt to make it work.
IIRC maxed out with the FTP setup I was just grazing the 500fps mark. I only played with it one day as I recieved all the .177 parts from Eric the following day.
Dammit...I keep refreshing this page because of the title, "New stuff starting to arrive..."......
Plus I keep refreshing the "new items" on ScopesAndAmmo......
When's that m4177 coming?....I'm about to have a stroke!!!:dejection:
(Kinda sad that the only thing I get excited about is a new airgun....made from an old airgun....)
:blahblah:I know....I know....
Cheers,
HS
We're being told the M4-177 for Canada is March now- not sure what the hold-up on this is- likely just setting aside the time to make a 'Canadian' run on the production line.
I'm trying to get to things ASAP, the other new items are 500fps Remington Vantages (i.e. B18/B19 but Remington Branded, different stock), the Nitro Venom Detuned NPSS, a coming-soon "Special" on the T4OPTS kit (now discontinued, so I bought a pile of the last units available)...
Even though it is probably a 760 clad in lots of cheap black plastic.:glee: Guess I will have to get one just to keep my other cheap black plastic Air-17 company.:hopelessness::awink::encouragement:

I wish i had one of the old air17
Ahhh....the A*I*R *17.....
My Dad got me that pumper in about 88 or 89'.
Loved that thing intensely....thus explaining my almost "perverted" want of the M4177.
:apologetic:
So... this is what it sounds like.....when doves cry....
Appreciate the update, AirGunEric.
Seriously, there's no shortage of sh!t I need and want from the store, (and overtime is a plenty), so I will try to abate my wringing of hands, and gnashing of teeth....
HS
Here I am supposed to be scraping up a down payment for a reliable vehicle and....
I wish I had known this was coming- would have held off a few days on the last order...

Doc Sharptail
